Our Housing Solutions team, which includes our Homeless Support Line and Tenancy Deposit Service, partners with Housing Executive Housing advisors, external organisations and Simon accommodation projects to reduce the likelihood of rough sleeping, or the length of stay an individual experiences within an accommodation project.
What to expect?
Individuals may meet the team when they first claim homelessness status with the Housing Executive or at a regular Housing Clinic delivered at Simon Community projects. The experienced team will provide timely advice and faster access to temporary accommodation and specialist support.
The HOME team worked with me not to find any roof but to find the right home for my needs. In the Summer of 2018, the team called to say that I had enough points and was allocated a flat in a FOLD. Since then, they’ve helped me adjust to independent living. I’ve come a long way and none of this would have been possible without the kindness, support and love from the HOME angels.
