If we can't help who can?

We work as part of a bigger network, providing a wide range of specialist services to support those experiencing homelessness. This page is a guide to our trusted partners and essential services across Northern Ireland. From emergency housing and domestic abuse support to benefits advice and mental health resources, these organisations are here to provide the specialist help you need.

Emergency and Immediate Safety

If you are in immediate danger, always dial 999. For non-emergency police matters dial 101.

The Silent Solution 999 call in Northern Ireland

The Silent Solution is a crucial service in Northern Ireland for individuals experiencing domestic abuse who cannot speak. It allows those in danger to get help without being overheard.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Call 999 from a mobile phone (this service does not work from a landline)

Step 2: When prompted, press 55 to indicate a genuine emergency.

Step 3: The call will be transferred to the local police, who will then attempt to communicate with the caller.

Step 4: Pressing 55 does not allow police to track the caller’s location. Follow Instructions: If unable to speak, listen carefully to the police’s questions and instructions.
