Dine and Donate: Help Fight Homelessness This Christmas
Across Northern Ireland, too many people are living without a safe, secure home. This December, your café, pub, or restaurant can make a real difference through Dine and Donate.
By taking part in Dine & Donate, your customers will make a small donation when they dine - giving your venue a simple way to spread Christmas cheer, show community spirit, and make a real impact.
It’s a simple, feel-good way for you and your customers to make a real difference this Christmas. Sign up today and we will provide everything you need.
How It Works
- Sign up below — it’s free and quick! And we will then support you every step of the way.
- Choose menu items – select 1 or more popular dishes to feature as Dine and Donate Specials and include a £1 donation in their price throughout December.
- Spread the word – display festive campaign materials, share on social media and do some local PR so customers know how they can help.
- Collect donations - throughout December, every £1 goes to support Simon Community’s work for people experiencing homelessness this Christmas.
By raising just £150, your venue could provide a safe, secure and warm place for someone to stay and provide a family living in temporary accommodation with an emergency food voucher for a week.

Why get involved?
- Tackle a growing crisis: Over 60,000 people in Northern Ireland are legally classified as homeless – that’s 1 in every 31people.
- Boost your brand and goodwill this Christmas: Your customers will feel positively about a business that supports local causes.
- Join a proven movement: Last year, participating venues like Little Wing and the Galgorm Collection helped make a real difference - 2025 can be even bigger.
“Anyone can end up in this situation — all it takes is a couple of months out of work, the loss of a partner, or a bad financial decision.” - Simon
