Join us on Friday 11th October at the iconic Stormont Estate in Belfast.
1 in 34 people are currently officially registered as homeless in Northern Ireland including 5,000 children. Over 80,000 people are waiting for their own place to call home. At Simon Community, we believe another reality is possible. It doesn’t have to be this way and homelessness is not inevitable.
One BIG Sleepout is not just an event, it’s a movement. For one night, we invite you to step out of your comfort zone, and sleep under the stars to raise awareness and vital funds to combat homelessness across Northern Ireland. Sleeping out for one night will not replicate the realities of experiencing homelessness but it will send a powerful message.
What to expect:
Community and Connection: Join like-minded individuals who are committed to making a difference. Share stories, make new friends, and unite for a common cause.
Safe and Secure Environment: Our team will ensure a safe experience for all participants with designated sleeping areas, security, and medical support on site.
By the Fireside: Enjoy performances, stories, and interactive activities which highlight the realities of homelessness and inspire hope.

Your fundraising will enable us to continue to deliver our critical services and help deliver change. Every year, Simon Community supports over 1,300 people – with your support we can ensure we are there for everyone who needs our help.

Fundraise: Use our easy online tools to reach your world and collect donations. When you sign up, you will receive a fundraising pack packed with information and ideas to help you smash your fundraising target. Our dedicated team are available to support you every step of the way.
