Carols in the City 2026

An evening of music, reflection and hope in the heart of Belfast.

Join us on Wednesday 9th December at Assembly Buildings Conference Centre, Belfast, for Carols in the City 2026.

As the city prepares for Christmas, join us in the heart of Belfast for an evening of seasonal music, readings and reflection. Bringing together supporters, partners and friends of Simon Community, Carols in the City is an opportunity to celebrate the season while recognising the impact of those working towards a future without homelessness across Northern Ireland.

We are delighted to welcome back Specsavers as headline sponsor of Carols in the City. Their continued support helps make this special evening possible while supporting Simon Community’s work towards a future without homelessness across Northern Ireland.

Whether you come along every year or are joining us for the first time, we’d love to welcome you.

Doors open at 6.15pm, with the event beginning at 6.45pm.

Following the event, guests are invited to stay for tea, coffee and shortbread.

An Evening to Begin the Christmas Season

Featuring performances from local choirs and musicians alongside readings from special guests, Carols in the City brings together people who share a belief that homelessness is not inevitable and that it can be ended.

Throughout the evening, we’ll share stories of Simon Community’s work and celebrate the impact that supporters and partners make every day across Northern Ireland.

It’s an opportunity to reflect on the year, celebrate what has been achieved together, and look ahead with hope and determination.

Why Your Support Matters

Every day, Simon Community works to prevent homelessness, provide emergency support and help people secure a stable home.

Funds raised through Carols in the City will support these services, ensuring that people can access practical support when they need it most.

At a time of year when many of us reflect on the importance of home, your support helps create opportunities for people facing homelessness to build a more stable future. Together, we can work towards a society where everyone has a safe place to call home.
