Team leader of the South Eastern Low Threshold Drug and Alcohol Outreach team, Georgina has managed a growing team who has constantly expanded its practices, reach and service of delivery.
The low threshold team supports hundreds of people each year and tries to help those most at risk of substance misuse issues. Naturally this is a very demanding job and the co-ordination of this and management of such a complex service needs exceptional leadership.
Georgie leads from the front, which motivates the staff to give their best whilst ensuring she is there for support at any given point to support her team. Despite being the youngest in the team she is the mother hen and cares for wellbeing, which in the nature of the work this team does is exactly what you need in a leader.
