Our Housing Support Workers are here to guide you through Northern Ireland’s housing system so you can find a safe place to live. We’ll give you clear, personalised advice so you understand all your options. Last year 26,000 people reached out to Simon Community for the support they needed to secure safe accommodation. What to expect before you call

It can help to write down any key points or important dates that might explain your situation. The more information you’re able to share, the better placed our advisors will be to support you. You may also find it helpful to have a pen and paper nearby so you can note down any advice, phone numbers, or next steps during the call.

You’ll speak to someone who will listen to you with understanding and treat you with dignity, whatever your situation.

Our Advisors will ask a few gentle questions to understand your circumstances, such as where you’re staying now and what support you need.

You’ll be given straightforward information about your housing options and the next steps you can take, explained in a way that’s easy to understand.

Advice is personalised to you – there’s no “one size fits all”. The focus is on what will help you most right now.

Our Advisors can guide you through housing processes and help you understand who to contact, including referrals to relevant services where appropriate.
