Setting up Your Fundraisers
To set up your Facebook and Instagram fundraisers, is simple;
Facebook Desktop
- Log into Facebook, on your homepage click on fundraisers on the left-hand side
- Click on the green 'Raise Money' button
- Select the 'Charity' option when asked who you are raising money for
- Search for Simon Community Northern Ireland, then set your target and your end date and click 'next'
- You can change the text for your fundraiser, or simply go with the text Facebook suggests - Click 'next'
- To change the suggested photo click 'edit' in the bottom right of the image and upload your own image, or simply click 'create'
Facebook Mobile
To create a fundraiser for a charitable organization tap here or follow these steps:
- Tap the 3 horizontal lines in the top right of your screen
- Scroll down and tap Fundraisers. You may need to tap See More.
- Tap + Create Fundraiser
- Select Simon Community NI
- Add a cover photo and fill in details for your fundraiser
- Hit create.
- In Instagram stories, tap the sticker icon
- Select the donation sticker
- Select Simon Community NI as the organisation you wish to support
- Tap Send
