Simon Community NI’s One BIG Sleep Out has been named Fundraising Event of the Year at this year’s Institute of Fundraising Northern Ireland Annual Awards.
The event, sponsored by Blue Clarity and proudly supported by Q Radio, was held in the grounds of Stormont Estate in November 2018 and welcomed over 50 participants who helped raise over £29,000 to go towards ending homelessness in Northern Ireland.
Speaking about the award win, Head of Income Generation at Simon Community, Joanne McCallister commented;
I’m delighted that our One BIG Sleep Out has been recognised at this year’s IoF NI Awards and thank all those participants, sponsors, clients, volunteers and staff members who made it such a success.

A flagship awareness and fundraising event for Simon Community NI, this award will push our Fundraising team to make 2019’s One BIG Sleep Out even bigger and better for those braving the cold to help end homelessness in NI.
