Over 25 housing and related services across the island of Ireland have made it through to the finals of the Chartered Institute of Housing Awards 2020.
The awards celebrate and recognise the breadth of work across the sector in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, showcasing the amazing work and inspirational people seen in communities every day.
Northern Ireland’s leading homelessness charity, Simon Community NI, have been named as finalists in three categories - ‘Excellence in Communications’, ‘Housing Team of the Year’ and ‘Working in Partnership’. Speaking of the nominations, Jim Dennison, Chief Executive at Simon Community NI commented:
I’m delighted to see the work of our charity recognised in such exciting categories and am very proud of those colleagues involved. Additionally, I’d like to thank the Housing Executive and Public Health Agency whose funding and support makes it possible for our HOME and South Eastern Outreach services to exist, flourish and receive award nominations.
